About the Role
Digital Optima is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead implementation initiatives, platform configurations, and technical integrations. In this hybrid/WFH role based in Spain, you will balance project governance, client stakeholder management, and hands-on technical execution across supply chain and orchestration technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Governance: Scope, define, and sequence project activities using Waterfall, Kanban, or Hybrid frameworks.
- Budget & Risk Control: Estimate project costs, maintain financial forecasts, manage expenditures, and proactively manage risks with clear mitigation paths.
- System Implementation & Configuration: Configure business rules, administrative parameters, and UI screens for client setups.
- Technical Integration & Cloud Deployment: Guide third-party system integrations using standardized APIs and assist with solution deployments on AWS.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical contact, translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and managing scope expectations.
- Technical Documentation & Quality: Produce solution designs, test scripts, and user guides while ensuring deliverables meet technical quality standards.
Technical & Domain Requirements
- Domain Knowledge: Strong expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Global Orchestration Systems (GOS) platforms.
- Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with Rocketlane and Jira.
- Technical Tooling: Practical familiarity with SQL, Postman, Grafana, Open L, Keeper, and Keycloak.
- Integration & Infrastructure: Proven experience with API utilization/standardization and AWS cloud deployments.
Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Languages: Native or fluent Spanish, along with good professional written and spoken English.
- Problem-Solving: Data-driven critical thinking with a track record of root-cause analysis.
- Adaptability & Organization: Strong time management, personal discipline, and stress resilience under changing priorities.
